1. What is APTRANSCO?

Ans: APTransco is the short name for 'Transmission Corporation Of Andhra Pradesh Limited' .APTransco came into existence on 1.02.1999 as a consequence of restructuring of the erstwhile AP State Electricity Board (APSEB) to look after Trans-mission of Electricity in Andhra Pradesh.

2. Who can be a 'Registered User' of this website.?

Ans:  Any employee of APTransco, with standard Employee code and any valid e-mail ID, can register.

3. What all information an unregistered user or visitor can browse?

Ans: The general public  information about the Organization ; the useful information required by the other power sectors, industries etc;  information required by the contractors, tenderers ; Company Sitemap;  the achievements/awards etc  

4. What additional information a registered user can browse?

Ans: All the employee related information, T.O.Os, News related to APTransco, information related to any internal matters of the Organization, Training programmes, Employee Forum discussions, Chat facility, News letters, Blog Items etc

5. How to register into the site as an employee of APTransco?

Ans: For registering into the site You have to click on 'Register Now' (below the Log In form in Home page). You will be asked to enter the mandatory information viz.Name, Emp Id, Email etc. All the required  information you may need to enter and then click the 'Register button. 
After clicking the button, a message will be displayed on the same page that you may have to wait for Admin Confirmation. In a 2-3 days of time, after verified by the Admin, you will be sent confirmation msg along with default password to your e-mail Id.  You need to change the password at your first Log-in into the site.

6. What is Subscription for? Who can subscribe?

Ans: You may subscribe for APTransco's News Letter with just Name and valid e-mail Id. Anyone can subscribe for this feature.

7. What is the benefit of subscription?

Ans: A subscriber can be sent to his/her mail - any News Letter (whenever it is) released by the Organization. A News Letter can be on any article/ technical information related to Organization e.g. ERP etc

8. Whether anytime it can be unsubscribed?

Ans: Yes. Whenever a user unsubscribes, the information is sent automatically to Admin and the subscriber can be removed from the list.

9. If we unsubscribe, does it mean we'll be no more a registered user?

Ans: 'Subscribers' are different from 'Registered Users'. Anyone can become a subscriber (with a valid e-mail Id) where-as only employees with employee code can only become a Registered User.
